PartnerConnect
Our partner collaboration space allows sales reps and alliance managers to get easy, secure access to the information they need. Enterpulse's partner-focused extranet, PartnerConnect, was developed by re-using the assets and framework of our full-featured asset management and collaborative intranet, EnterConnect, and provides:
- Secure, log-in access to items such as case studies, pitch material, and solution demos
- A searchable repository of resources to accelerate sales cycles
- Contacts, Discussions, FAQs and more
Based on SOA standards, PartnerConnect supports implementation of enterprise SOA projects—promoting re-use for reductions in both time and cost. Enterpulse is using PartnerConnect internally to connect and communicate with our premier technology partners.
For a national manufacturing company, we are implementing several collaboration portlets of PartnerConnect, along with Interwoven's TeamSite for content management, to create a Sales Partner Portal—empowering the company to more effectively communicate the latest product information to their resellers.
Dashboard
A services infrastructure, along with content delivered through a portal, enables a consistently branded, seamless environment that brings partners closer together with their customers. This kind of collaborative dashboard provides:
- Real-time access to custom applications, content and processes critical to supply chain and vendor management
- A view into partner data and content housed by a complex integration of backend systems and business processes
- Personalized, role-based logins to content specific to a partner or supplier role
For the City of Chicago, we implemented a Dashboard to provide their external partners such as contractors, architects and foreman with a filtered view to monitor project progress, forecast potential scope changes and impact on cash flows before they occur, and check on payment requests in the City's accounting system.
Supplier/Vendor Information Management
Providing real-time, high-value information can enable immediate business change. With supplier information served up via a secure portal platform that capitalizes on SOA, clients can improve supply chain efficiencies, speed response time, and publish timely supplier performance data. These features increase information value and promote profitability by eliminating the high cost of fulfillment cycles.
For a major transportations and logistics company, Enterpulse designed a single point-of-access for partners and vendors to log in and access up to 80 applications and tools. Such capabilities range from generating equipment-tracking reports, to calculating shipment weights—all accessed via a BEA-based portal.
